When should I bring my child in for their first appointment?
It's important you bring your child in when they get their first tooth or, at the latest, by their first birthday. When they start getting their teeth that means they can also get cavities. We want to monitor their oral health as they grow to ensure their smile remains in top shape.
Can you help ease my dental anxiety?
Yes! We offer sedation through laughing gas that will help you remain calm during your appointments. However, you'll still be able to drive home just fine since it doesn't leave any lasting impact. We also offer headphones so you can watch TV during your appointment and block out the sounds of our equipment if they bother you.
Do you accept my insurance?
We accept a multitude of insurances, such as Cigna, Delta Dental, Delta Dental Community Care, EMI, Regence, Aetna, Dental Select, DenteMax, DMBA, Diversified, MetLife Dental, PEHP, SelectHealth (Classic and Dental Advantage), TDA, United Concordia, and United Healthcare. If you don't see your insurance listed, give us a call and we'll confirm if we accept it. We also have third-party financing through CareCredit if you are concerned about costs.

Although we offer several flexible payment options at Guardian Family Dental, you can also save on the cost of preventive care when you join our membership club. For a low monthly payment, you'll get the routine dental care you need in the most affordable way possible.

Child and adult plans include professional dental cleanings (2 per year); the perio plan includes perio maintenance cleanings (3 per year). Every plan includes doctor exams (1-2 per year), fluoride treatment, needed x-rays (as determined by your dentist), one emergency exam per year (if needed) and 15% off all other treatments (some exclusions may apply). $89 lifetime activation fee includes first month.
